Jirad currently serves as Course Leader for the BA (Hons) Graphic Design and BA (Hons) Creative Advertising programs at HBU-UCLan School of Communication, Media and Creative Industries, where he also holds the position of Senior Lecturer. He holds a BA in Graphic Design and an MA in Design for Interactive Media, and is currently pursuing his PhD at the University of Central Lancashire.

Jhuboo's research focuses on sensory design through transcultural approaches, exploring how to incorporate multiple senses - including touch, sound, smell and taste - into design practices beyond traditional visual communication. His work examines cross-cultural differences in sensory perception and how these findings can inform more inclusive design solutions.

With over 12 years of teaching experience in graphic design, advertising and digital design, Jhuboo is responsible for curriculum development and instruction in both the Graphic Design and Creative Advertising programs. His teaching approach emphasizes the practical skills and knowledge needed in today's design industry.
