Hebei University (HBU) is located in Baoding City, Hebei Province, a famous historical and cultural city in NE China.It is auniversityjointly founded by the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Hebei Province , it is a nationalfirst-class university supported by Hebei Province.

Hebei University was originally founded as Tianjin industrial and Commercial University in 1921, located in MachangRoad, Tianjin City, Since then, the school has gone through different changes; from Tianjin industrial and CommercialCollege , Private Jingu University, National Jingu University, Tianjin Normal College, and Tianjin Normal University. in1960, it was named Hebei University by the Hebei Provincial Parly Committee and the Provincial Government.In 1970 , itwas relocated to Baoding City, Hebei Province. Over the past 100years, generations of scholars have devotedthemselves to teaching and research, and generations of students have worked hard to learnand serve the country.
