Lv Yi, female, born in February 1973, is currently Vice Chairperson of the China Democratic League Baoding Municipal Committee, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, and Dean of the HBU–UCLan School of Media, Communication and Creative Industries. She serves as a member of the 12th and 13th Hebei Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC). She has been a state-sponsored visiting scholar at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts in Germany, Western Kentucky University in the United States, and the University of Lancashire in the United Kingdom, and has been awarded an Honorary Fellowship by the University of Central Lancashire. Professor Lü is also a Council Member of the Chinese Association for Higher Education International Branch for Sino-Foreign Cooperative Education, and Vice Chairperson of the Hebei Musicians Association. Her notable honours include a nomination for the Hebei Province "May Fourth Youth" award with a third-class merit citation, the title of "Yuxiu Distinguished Teacher" from Hebei University, the third prize (first rank) and second prize (independent recipient) of the Hebei Provincial Outstanding Achievement Award in Social Sciences, and the National Outstanding Contribution Award for Sino-Foreign Cooperative Education.
