On 2 July, a delegation from the CUCN-UEA Digital Creativity Institute of Nanjing University of Media and Communication visited the HBU-UCLan School of Media, Communication and Creative Industries. Dean Lv Yi, Vice Dean/Academic Head Sion Hughes, Vice Dean Fu Hongyan, and relevant faculty members welcomed the delegation. The participants had an in-depth exchange on institutional and partnership development.

The delegation toured the School’s art exhibition hall, modelmaking workshop, virtual studio, live-action filming studio, and other practical training facilities, gaining a detailed understanding of the School’s well-established operational experience in Sino-foreign cooperative education, as well as its history and achievements.

At the symposium, Lv Yi, Fu Hongyan, and relevant faculty members drew on their own institutional practices to address questions and shared experience on curriculum development, foreign faculty management, practical training platform construction, teaching quality control, and student education in Sino-foreign cooperative education. Both sides reached a consensus to establish a long-term exchange mechanism, continue mutual learning, and to work together to enhance the quality of teaching in media-related Sino-foreign cooperative education.
