2026-03-09

Recently, the "International Cooperation Training Programme for Art Education Talents from a Cross-Cultural Perspective", led and applied for by our Dean Lv Yi, was successfully approved as a "Special Project for Cultivating Artistic Talents" by the China Scholarship Council. This project will select one joint-training master's student and one visiting scholar annually for three consecutive years to study and exchange overseas. This marks the first time our school has obtained the "Special Project for Cultivating Artistic Talents" from the China Scholarship Council, signifying an important breakthrough in the cultivation of internationally-minded artistic talents at Hebei University.

Grounded in a "cross-cultural perspective" and focusing on the frontiers of art education, this project aims to develop versatile art education talents with global vision, cross-cultural communication skills, and innovative practical abilities through systematic overseas research and international cooperation. The successful approval of the project not only fully affirms the School's internationalisation level and disciplinary construction achievements but also establishes a high-level platform for deepening international exchanges and enhancing the quality of talent development in art-related disciplines at Hebei University.

HBU-UCLan School of Media, Communication and Creative Industries has long been committed to integrating the educational strengths of China and the UK to create an international, creative talent cultivation model for media and the arts. The implementation of this project will further promote deep cooperation between the two universities, broaden the international academic horizons of teachers and students, and facilitate the innovative integration of art education concepts and methods.
