Faculty Representatives from Our College Invited to Visit Great Wall Motor Technology Center

On the afternoon of September 17, Lv Yi, Dean of HBU-UCLan School of Media, Communication and Creative Industries; Sion Hughes, Vice Dean/Academic Head of HBU-UCLan; Toni Fitter, Operations Manager; and Huang Fan, Deputy Director of the Media Department, were invited to visit the Great Wall Motor Technology Center for exchange and discussions.

The relevant responsible person from Great Wall Motor introduced the distinctive features and core advantages of different brands under Great Wall, highlighting how they build leading brands through category innovation. Both sides engaged in in-depth exchanges regarding Great Wall Motor's latest advancements in cutting-edge technology research and industrial practices, as well as brand communication models and methods. Subsequently, the delegation conducted an on-site inspection of Great Wall Motor's advanced laboratories, gaining a deeper understanding of the company's outstanding achievements and strong innovation capabilities in areas such as new energy, intelligent connectivity, and autonomous driving.

Professor Sion Hughes expressed profound admiration for Great Wall Motor's remarkable strengths in technological innovation and international layout. The student representatives from our college were deeply inspired; through this valuable on-site visit experience, they gained a more intuitive and profound understanding of the application of cutting-edge technologies in China's automotive industry, significantly broadening their professional perspectives and stimulating innovative thinking.
