She highly affirmed the remarkable achievements made by the school in undergraduate talent cultivation and practical innovation ability training, and expressed deep expectations for the graduates who are about to enter society, hoping that they would always maintain artistic ideals and social responsibility, display their talents in broader fields, and bring honor to their alma mater.

Dean Lv Yi affectionately sent messages to the graduates, saying that their youthful memories are deeply engraved in the development history of the school. She expressed appreciation for the extraordinary creativity demonstrated in the graduation exhibition and gratitude for the educational feelings of the school's Chinese and foreign teachers who supported students with love and wisdom. She encouraged the graduates to uphold the belief of "loving yourself, loving your family, and loving the motherland" and face the future with fearless courage.

Sion Hughes, the foreign vice dean/academic head of the school, said that this exhibition is not only a concentrated display of the students' four years of studying achievements but also a vivid reflection of the school's talent cultivation concept of "internationalization, interdisciplinary, and practical orientation." Through the "dual-campus" and "dual-supervisor" models, the school has built a bridge for cross-cultural communication for students, and this works exhibition is a living case of the integration of Chinese and British education.

Wang Ya, the teacher representative of the school, extended warm congratulations to all the graduates in her speech. She introduced that the exhibited works focus on social hot spots, the integration of traditional culture and technology. From scheme deliberation to work implementation, from creative collision to cross-border collaboration, the students have achieved transformation step by step with perseverance. Although not perfect, they have outlined the future with youthful vitality and innovative courage. She told the graduates that graduation is not the end but the starting point of a new journey. She hopes that the students will always maintain their passion and meet challenges with cross-cultural vision and innovative thinking, and the school and teachers will always be their strong backing.

Chen Tianlin, a graphic design student, spoke as the graduate representative. He first expressed gratitude to the two universities for their cultivation and to all Chinese and foreign teachers for their careful guidance on behalf of all graduates. He then reviewed his four-year study experience, saying that the students grew up in cultural collision and integration, not only rooted in Chinese stories but also embracing a global vision, honing professional skills in projects, and gaining deep friendship in teamwork. Looking forward to the future, he promised on behalf of all graduates that they would shoulder the mission of the times, with the spirit of "independent thinking and courage to innovate," open up new prospects in the changing situation, and convey China's voice with professional ability.

After the opening ceremony, the guests, teachers, and students visited the graduation works exhibition together. This year's graduation exhibition displays more than 100 artworks, covering various forms such as designer personalized furniture design, interactive installations, brand design, and animated short films. The themes of the works include not only in-depth exploration of intangible cultural heritage and rural revitalization but also innovative exploration of cutting-edge fields such as artificial intelligence and the metaverse, reflecting the students' sense of social responsibility and keen insight into future trends.

This works exhibition is not only a perfect finale for the students' university stage but also a new starting point for them to step into the creative industry. HBU-UCLan School of Media, Communication and Creativity Industries will continue to deepen international cooperation, contribute to the cultivation of high-quality talents in the field of media and creativity in the new era, and help young people draw the magnificent chapter of the times with innovative brushes.
