International Foundation Year

Stefan is a Lecturer with an MA in Applied Linguistics and English Language Teaching from the University of Nottingham and a BA in Creative Writing from Southampton University. He holds both Cambridge DELTA and CELTA teaching qualifications. His research explores gamification in higher education, corpus linguistics in English language teaching, and applications of AI/deep learning models in language acquisition.

At HBU-UCLan, Stefan teaches English for Academic Purposes (EAP) for the International Foundation Year programme, combining his applied linguistics expertise with practical teaching approaches to support students' academic English development.
