On 11 May, a delegation comprising Li Hao, Silesian College of Intelligent Science and Engineering at Yanshan University; Liu Xueqiang and Xu Xiangwei, Vice Deans of the College; Feng Qinghua, Deputy Party Secretary; and Zhao Guanghua, Director of the College Office, visited our School to conduct a thematic research visit focusing on the core areas of Sino-foreign cooperative education. Our School’s Dean Lv Yi, Party Secretary Qu Jiangbin, Vice Dean Fu Hongyan, and administrative staff warmly received the delegation, engaging in discussions on new pathways for internationalised talent development.

During the symposium, Dean Lv Yi introduced the School’s development. The two parties conducted in-depth discussions on core topics including the systems and mechanisms of educational operation, the innovation and entrepreneurship education framework, the quality monitoring of Sino-foreign curricula, and the development of globally competent talents. They also exchanged practical experiences on issues such as foreign language learning incentives and the optimisation of joint teaching, laying a solid foundation for deepening cooperation between the two institutions.
Following the symposium, the visiting delegation toured our School’s teaching laboratories, multimedia broadcast centre, and other key facilities, gaining direct insight into the internationalised educational environment and practical teaching outcomes. They expressed strong recognition of our School’s achievements in Sino-foreign cooperative education. The delegation noted that the two institutions share highly compatible educational philosophies and looked forward to taking this exchange as an opportunity to share high-quality resources and jointly explore new pathways for development.

This research visit has established a bridge for mutual learning and experience sharing between institutions. HBU-UCLan School of Media, Communication and Creative Industries will continue its unwavering efforts to develop high-quality media and creative talents who possess both a sense of national commitment and a global perspective.
