On the afternoon of 4 November 2025, a delegation from China Digital Culture Group comprising Jiang Nan, Director of the Digital Publishing Department; Wang Chunqing, General Manager of Beijing Oriental Audio-Video Company; and Wang Yindan, Supervisor of the Digital Publishing Department, visited the HBU-UCLan School of Media, Communication and Creative Industries. China Digital Culture Group is a central state-owned enterprise specialising in cultural sectors.

Accompanied by Dean Lv Yi, Vice Dean Fu Hongyan and other representatives, the visiting guests toured the School and expressed genuine admiration for its first-class international educational environment, faculty team, advanced equipment and facilities, and excellent graduate design works.
During the subsequent seminar, both sides engaged in in-depth exchanges and discussions on topics including digital publishing, cultural digitisation, and the integration of industry, academia and research. Jiang Nan introduced the basic information about the Group's Digital Publishing Department and Beijing Oriental Audio-Video Company, whose core business covers multiple areas such as cultural digitisation, cultural and tourism integration, public cultural services, tourism consumption, and intangible cultural heritage creative products. Lv Yi presented the School's development history, programme offerings, student recruitment and employment, social services, international teaching model, and educational characteristics.
The participating experts unanimously agreed that in today's rapidly developing digital cultural and creative industries, combining the intellectual talent advantages of higher education institutions with the platform resource advantages of cultural central state-owned enterprises will inevitably generate significant cooperative potential. Both sides reached consensus on jointly applying for national-level research projects and cooperating on digital cultural projects, forming working concepts and promotion measures, with vibrant idea exchange and frequent inspiration during the seminar.

This meeting established a favourable beginning for building a long-term, stable, and mutually beneficial strategic cooperative relationship between China Digital Culture Group and the HBU-UCLan.
